Two Unique Riding Experiences — Two Distinct Routes

Hatta offers not one but two unique horse-riding experiences, each set against its own spectacular mountain landscape. The Dubai Municipality Sand Equestrian Track introduces a purpose-built, family-friendly riding trail for equestrian enthusiasts, while Hatta Horses at Wadi Hub offers guided horseback adventures through natural trails, trees, lakes, and mountain paths.

Though located in different areas of Hatta, both routes invite riders to connect with nature and enjoy Dubai’s mountain escape from a new perspective.

Dubai Municipality’s First Sand Equestrian Track

Dubai Municipality has inaugurated the first sand equestrian track in Hatta, extending 2.54 kilometers in length and 3 meters in width. This new trail — located near Al Khattem Dam — provides an exceptional outdoor experience for equestrian enthusiasts, amateurs, and visitors of all ages. The soft-sand track weaves through scenic desert surroundings, offering a safe and sustainable environment for horseback riding while promoting wellness, recreation, and community engagement in Hatta. It stands as a new addition to Dubai Municipality’s ongoing efforts to enhance eco-tourism and outdoor sports infrastructure in the region.
